An art history journal with a singular sensitivity
Landelina is an independent digital art history journal. Following the etymology of its name, «small land or country», it is a space for research, outreach and review, curated by the interests and passions of its editor.
The journal covers any aspect of art and history that awakens our sense of the sublime: articles on both the famous and the obscure; analyses of works from all eras and in all formats; reviews of art books; exhibition reviews; travelogues focused on art history; and many other content formats.
We are a trilingual journal: Spanish is our native language; Valencian connects us to our home base, the city of Valencia; and English gives us an international reach.
Landelina is born out of the singular vision of its editor, Clara Cañero, a fledgling historian and art critic and the owner of the original Landelina, a grumpy calico cat who gave this project its name.
